This Mission
To preach the Word of God, to God's people and to those that are lost and don't know God as Savior and Master, so that a God-movement will start in the lives of God's people toward revival, repentance and a new commitment to discipleship in America and beyond, and that Jesus alone will be worshiped as Son of God, Savior, and King.
The goals of this mission are
1.Preach the Father in all His glory so that hearts that have been hardened will become awakened again to Him and His ways.
2.Preach Jesus in all His magnificence so that He is utterly irresistible.
3.Preach the complete truths of God’s word in the power of the Holy Spirit, dynamically, relevantly, and passionately so that people will yearn to know Him, worship Him, and walk in His ways all the days of their lives.

My Beliefs The Scriptures
The Scriptures (Bible) is sufficient. They give us enough truth for all religious purposes. Nature is a reflection of God's truth, but men are inherently sinful, thus that reflection is flawed, so we cannot rely on men to be the true source of truth. We must rely on the written Word of God.
Scripture is within itself authoritative. It is not like other documents that rely on men, on courts, and other documents to make it a source of authority. The early church councils in the second, third and fourth centuries did not make the bible authoritative, they just recognized the authority the books already possessed. Scripture speaks with authority unlike any other document on the earth.
The Bible is Gods message to man given to supply the needs of his religious life. It is full and complete in its teaching and its truth to this world on how to get home and how to walk with Christ.
God wrote the Bible, through the inspiration of prophets. It is pretty much a mystery how this act happened, since it was through the working of God, coming down to the plane of men through his holy spirit and using this method to reach other men with His truth.
The Bible culminates in Christ. All doctrine before and after Christ must be seen in the light of His coming, if we ever expect to understand or apply it to our lives and day.
God
God is spirit. When Christ was speaking to the woman at the well, he said, "God is spirit, and those that worship Him must worship him in spirit and in truth. God has no visible outward form. He is pure spirit. This is hard to understand, as many things with God are considering we look on things with human understanding and eyes, considering the fact that most are raised to see God as a comforting "old man with a long white beard".
There is one God. There are no other gods before HIM. Not any other gods before them, but Him. There is one God. Monotheistic. Now within this one God there are three different personalities that are present, the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. I use the word personality instead of persons simply to keep it from getting to confusing about the one God thing. The triunity is not really explained in the Bible, it simply gives us facts about it. Theologians have tried to explain it in a way that could be understood, but have failed. Sometimes just the facts should be enough for faith to work. God is introduced to us as the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. These distinct personalities all have a personal quality and task, yet all three of them are the same God.
God is personal. The world tends to try to push on us a God that is world based. He made the world, but then got uninvolved, except on a grand level. God, our God, is a personal one. He didn't just decide to let the world go on its on and move on to His next project. God gets personally involved in all of our lives. Our worship dies when we stop thinking of God as personal and within our hearts, it becomes hollow and empty, worship becomes religion and tradition.
God is holy. He is the moral law; it is grounded and discovered within the truths that are God. He is its author and is Himself clothed with all moral perfections.
God is infinite. To God there is no end and no beginning. He is both, he always has been and always will be.
Christ
The Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, both fully God and Man, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, crucified, dead, buried, bodily resurrected and ascended into heaven, and is now seated at God the Father's right hand. His death and resurrection was to atone for the sins of men. He is literally coming again to gather His prepared church to be with Him forever, to judge the world, lost men, Satan, and his demons, and to finally and completely establish His kingdom.
Man
Man was created by God in His image and likeness. Innocence and freedom were lost to sin and bondage due to Adam's sin. Adams sin was disobedience to the revealed will and Word of God. Due to this defiance, man has incurred the penalty of a physical death, a spiritual deaths, became subject to the wrath of God, and became inherently corrupt and utterly incapable of choosing or doing that which is acceptable to God apart from Divine grace offered through Christ Jesus. Apart from this grace, we are nothing. Sinful by nature, corrupt in all our parts as a result of the original sin passed down from Adam, man has no hope apart from God's grace. Man's purpose, happiness and fulfillment can be found only in God's plan and design for their lives.
Salvation
Salvation is of God by grace thru the redemption of Jesus Christ, the merit of His works and shed blood, and not on the basis of any human merit or works. The salvation of man from a deserved spiritual and eternal death is by God's grace alone, through His gift of faith alone, and because of the Person and work of Jesus Christ alone. The ongoing process of sanctification and the future state of glorification are likewise provided and received by grace thru faith.
Church
The Church is the Body of Christ, as believer we are all tied together in one church. We were baptized together into one body, working together to fulfill the divine will of God. The term Church refers to more than just one building, or even to one gathering of believers, but spreads the world to encompass all of the believers of Christ into one unity, despite physical distance. The church is an unassembled assembly. |
